What it is

LodgeIQ is The Accounting Academy's internal compliance platform, purpose-built to track Australian Taxation Office (ATO) obligations, tax lodgement deadlines, and ATO correspondence across the client base. The name reflects its core function: staying on top of every lodgement deadline and ATO matter with precision.

What it's for

Tax compliance in Australia is deadline-driven. Missing a lodgement date or failing to respond to an ATO matter on time can result in penalties for clients. LodgeIQ exists to eliminate that risk by giving the team a single, centralised place to see every upcoming obligation, active ATO matter, and correspondence item — so nothing falls through the cracks.

How it works

Each client is assigned to a manager. Managers log in and see only their own clients, keeping the workspace focused and clutter-free. Administrators and reviewers have visibility across the full client base.

Due dates are tracked with automated reminders sent to the assigned manager at set intervals before a deadline, keeping lodgements proactive rather than reactive.

When an ATO matter arises — such as an audit, payment plan request, overdue return, or general correspondence — it is logged against the relevant client with details including the matter type, priority, status, due date, and any supporting documents. Matters are colour-coded for quick visibility, and the assigned manager receives email notifications when a matter is created, updated, or approaching its deadline.
