How to contact us

Before Contacting Support

Before contacting The Accounting Academy for support, you are expected to:

  1. Do your research
    Review the relevant course content, Knowledgebase articles, procedures, and training materials as well as review the ATO rulings, legislation and other materials.

  2. Seek peer clarification
    Post your question in the WhatsApp group to see if another participant can clarify the issue. Many questions are resolved quickly through peer discussion as other participants have likely come across your exact scenario.

  3. Prepare your question properly
    If the issue is still unresolved, email wegotyou@theaccountingacademy.com.au with:

    • A clear description of the problem

    • What research and workings you have already done

      • The knowledgebase article you read
      • Sources you used and workings you produced
      • The response from the community

    • Your proposed solution or approach

Support requests that do not include these three elements will not be responded to.

This process is intentional. The program is designed to build independent, competent tax agents.

Join our Facebook group or WhatsApp group. 

We post regular updates here, and participants can support each other.

These groups are for peer discussion and general guidance, not escalations or file reviews.

Please do not direct message the team at the Accounting Academy as the messages are not monitored.

Meetings

Book the option that matches your situation. All meetings are video and recorded for your reference (no phone calls). You must accept the calendar invite — if it isn't accepted, or you're more than 5 minutes late, the meeting is cancelled.

You're stuck on a specific problem and need help: You've done the research, asked the group, and still can't resolve it.

Pick the length that fits:

→ 30 minutes
→ 1 hour — for more complex problems


You must email your problem, your research, and your proposed solution to wegotyou@theaccountingacademy.com.au before the meeting. For urgent meetings, send it at least 2 hours ahead. No prep, no meeting.
